SVP, Chief Quality Officer

Meg Allwein is senior vice president and chief quality officer for Assurex Global. In this capacity, Meg serves as a strategic adviser to Assurex Global’s CEO and management team while providing oversight for Partner services within all four global regions – Asia/Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, Latin America/Caribbean and North America. In addition, she is responsible for the due diligence process involved in vetting prospective Partners of Assurex Global.

Meg’s approach can be summed up in the words of William A. Foster – “Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution…” As an advocate for the independent broker system, Meg actively participates in a number of industry groups and initiatives aimed at attracting the next generation of talent to the insurance industry, including the CIAB’s FAME scholarship program, The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation, and Gamma Iota Sigma, the international risk management and insurance collegiate fraternity.

Meg is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, with a degree in psychology. Following a brief stint in theatrical stage management, she joined Assurex Global in 1998. She serves on the Risk Management and Insurance Program Advisory Board for Franklin University and is the primary Assurex Global liaison to WELD (Women for Economic and Leadership Development), an organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in business and government leadership in central Ohio.

Meg resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband and three daughters.
