Executive Vice President
Meg Allwein is an executive vice president for Assurex Global, the exclusive Partnership of the most prominent independent insurance agents and brokers, representing more than $30 billion in premium volume from more than 600 offices on six continents.
Meg serves as a strategic advisor to Assurex Global’s CEO and management team and has oversight over the company’s activities in the Asia/Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and Latin America/Caribbean regions. In addition, she is responsible for the ongoing due diligence on the brokers selected to become Partners of Assurex Global.

As an advocate for the independent broker system, Meg actively participates in a number of industry groups and initiatives aimed at attracting the next generation of talent to the insurance industry, including The Council Foundation scholarship program, The Griffith Insurance Education Foundation, and Gamma Iota Sigma, the international risk management & insurance collegiate fraternity.
Meg is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, with a degree in psychology, and earned her MBA from The Ohio State University in 2017. She resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband and three daughters. She is an avid supporter of independent songwriters and enjoys live concerts as often as possible.
