Onboarding New Employees & The Assurex Global Learning Academy

Onboarding new employees is one of the foundational building blocks of hiring success.  Unfortunately, all too often it is a process that’s overlooked and underrated.

There are benefits to both the employee and to the firm of having quality learning and education paths for people at all points in their careers.

When onboarding a new employee:

  • Ensure that a new employee feels welcome and comfortable in their new environment by providing them with the necessary skills, knowledge and resources needed to begin their working relationship with your company on a positive, productive note.
  • Layout a career path — this will boost employee engagement, keep employees motivated, develop employee skills, and create corporate loyalty.

Assurex Global’s recently launched its own Learning Academy to help our Partners with this process.

The Assurex Global Learning Academy currently offers four online learning paths for property/casualty producer education. The academy is designed to help Partner firms onboard new staff and expand the knowledge of existing staff, while also providing content for the learning paths that accompany Assurex Global’s practice groups.

Development for an employee benefits learning path is also underway, with plans to launch soon. In addition, more specialized learning paths are being built and are coming soon.​
