Assurex Global’s Troy Johnson Named SVP, Global Growth Strategy
COLUMBUS, OHIO – Assurex Global, the world’s largest privately held commercial insurance, risk management, and employee benefits brokerage group, is excited to announce that team member Troy Johnson has been named SVP, Global Growth Strategy. In this strategic role, Johnson will focus on driving multinational revenue and helping Partner Firms expand their multinational footprint.

Johnson joined the organization in 2023 to spearhead the development of multinational practice groups across North America and Europe. His elevated position shifts his focus toward actionable business expansion. He will actively connect top-tier industry experts and specialists to build incomparable teams that serve multinational clients effectively.
The Assurex Global Partnership encompasses more than 100 independent firms operating from 730 offices across six continents. With over 30,700 professionals worldwide, the organization relies on deep regional expertise to manage complex, cross-border client needs. Johnson’s leadership will directly harness this massive network to maximize global market capture.

Johnson brings more than 25 years of risk and insurance brokerage experience to the Assurex Global team. Prior to joining Assurex Global, he served as Regional Sales Director at Towergate Insurance Brokers and Development Director at Griffiths & Armour. His extensive background also includes leadership and account management roles at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, PruHealth, and AXA Insurance.
