Accord Insurance Group Joins Assurex Global

COLUMBUS, OHIO – Accord Insurance Group in Tel Aviv, Israel, joined Assurex Global effective August 8, 2022.

Accord Insurance Agency Ltd. has a legacy of over 70 years in the Israeli market, owned by Yuval Cohen, who is the founder and Managing Partner of Fortissimo, the second biggest private equity in Israel. It is one of the five largest insurance agencies in Israel.

This firm is now included in the 100 independent brokerages of the worldwide Partnership.

The addition of Accord is part of Assurex Global’s ongoing strategy to add multiple Partner firms in 2022 as it continues to grow and enhance its offerings. Partner firms must meet stringent selection standards, so clients know they’re working with the best when choosing an Assurex Global Partner.

Accord is a merger of three insurance agencies: G.I.B.O. Insurance Agency Ltd, with 70 years of experience in the insurance market; A. Shpak Insurance Agency Ltd, with over 60 years of experience in the insurance market; and Kesh Insurance Agency (1997) Ltd, which was established in 1997. The three agencies merged in 2017 after the acquisition by Yuval Cohen.
