IMA Financial Group has acquired Parker, Smith & Feek effective November 1, 2021. The new partnership will expand IMA, one of the fastest-growing independent brokerage firms in the country, to 1,700 associates with reach now in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Hawaii.

Combining these two firms will grow IMA’s health care specialty and construction practice, as Parker, Smith & Feek boasts leading construction and project risk expertise that dates back decades. The firm has also committed to innovation by expanding into real estate, health care, food resources, and manufacturing.

“We are so excited to see yet another partnership form between two of our outstanding North American Partner firms,” Assurex Global President & CEO Dean Hildebrandt said. “This strategy represents a commitment to growth and a dedication to providing the very best solutions for their clients.”

This move is IMA’s largest partnership to date, with clients in all 50 states and employee-owners in 79 locations across the country. Parker, Smith & Feek will continue to operate its offices in Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, and Oregon. President & CEO Dave Eckroth will continue to lead Parker, Smith & Feek.

IMA is now projecting 2022 revenues between $400 million and $500 million. Parker, Smith & Feek will become an IMA company but retain its own name, offices, and clients as part of the partnership.

Denver-based IMA and Washington state-based Parker, Smith & Feek are both Assurex Global Partners.
