Meet the EMEA Next Generation: Albert & Sofija

, ,

Launched at the start of 2023, the Assurex Global EMEA Next Generation Initiative is a talent program offering upcoming professionals the opportunity to benefit from a range of international and leadership development opportunities. The program aims to allow participants to build their international networks while strengthening their respective firms.

The first EMEA Next Generation class includes 10 upcoming professionals. You can meet two of them here:

Albert Ferrer, Account Executive, Ribé Salat

Albert is a highly skilled account executive with over 15 years of expertise in international property damage and liability programs. He is driven by new challenges and expanding his client base on a global scale. Albert has had successful tenures at Marsh for seven years and Aon for four years, and he is now leveraging his wealth of knowledge at Ribé Salat.

“Meeting new people from other countries is wealth few of us are lucky enough to have, so for me, it is an absolute honor. This experience helps me see things from another perspective. You empathize much more and learn to listen and communicate with people differently. All this will help me with international relations at work and in my personal life.”

Sofija Lazareska, Account Manager, Strategica Group

With a master’s degree in insurance management, Sofija pursued further education in the Banking and Finance master’s program in Milan. After graduating, she joined Strategica as an intern in the Multinational Department. With nearly two years of experience, Sofija is eager to continue her learning journey and make valuable contributions to Strategica and Assurex Global.

“Next Gen for me means an opportunity to learn about all things multinational insurance, develop myself professionally, gain a specter of new skills and develop the ones I have, but most of all, it is an opportunity to meet with my peers from all over Europe, work together and share experiences that we wouldn’t be able to acquire in any other way.”

Stay tuned for features on more of our EMEA Next Generation participants and news about the program!
